Why it exists
Most printable habit trackers are a download of somebody else's habits in somebody else's handwriting, sized for a month you are not in. A 30-day challenge works because it is short, specific and in sight: one habit, thirty boxes, a pen. So this makes exactly that, with your habits and your start date, and hands it to your printer without asking for an email address first.
What it does
- Lays out up to six habits on one A4 page, each with its own 30 days to tick or colour in.
- Draws it in one of five hand-drawn styles: a lavender planner, a pastel grid, day cards, a bullet journal page, or shapes to colour in.
- Recolours the whole sheet from one colour you pick, habits included.
- Writes the date under every day number once you pick a start date, or leaves them blank for any month.
- Adds a title and one line about why you are doing it, for the day you want to skip.
- Prints from your browser, or saves as a PDF through the print dialog.
What paper cannot do
A sheet does not remind you, does not count your streak, and does not notice that today's box is still empty at nine in the evening. Some people find that is exactly the point. If it is not, that is the part a habit app is for.
Questions
- Is it really free?
- Yes. There is no sign-up, no email and no watermark beyond a small line at the foot of the page saying where it came from.
- Why 30 days?
- A month is long enough for a habit to start feeling normal and short enough to see the end of from the start. A finished challenge is also a better reason to begin the next one than an open-ended streak is to continue.
- Can I print it in US Letter size?
- Yes. The grid is narrower than both A4 and Letter, so choose Letter in the print dialog and it fits with margin to spare.
